What blessing Got has in store for me.
3 weeks ago. I slipped and fell and broke 3 bones in my foot.
So I went to the St. Mary's Emergency room and to get my foot treated. The emergency Dr. told me to go see my family Dr. immediately. I called my family doctor's office and asked to see Dr. Bruce for an emergency because I broke my foot, and also because the emergency Dr. told me to see my family doctor. They said he's not available because he is not a bone specialist but that they will arrange an appointment with a bone Dr. and call me back.I waited two days without an answer. My foot kept swelling up and the pain was unbearable.
That's when I called Br Elliot (my home teacher) and asked him to come to my house because I needed help. He asked what was wrong with me and I told him I broke my foot.He immediately came to my house and called my doctor's office and made an appointment with an orthopedic doctor.
Now my foot is doing well and I feel no pain. The doctor told me that it will take two months for me to heal.
I want to say thank you very much to Br Elliot. I would to tell you a story from Korea. It is about the horse of Seong.
An old man named Seong had a horse. one night his horse ran away.
His neighbor tried to comfort him by saying I am sorry for your loss.
Seong said, "Never mind. This might bring a blessing later."
Several months later his horse came back home with another good horse.
His neighbor said congratulations on your new horse.
Seong said, "Never mind. It might bring a misfortune later."
Later his son fell from riding the new horse and broke his leg.
The neighbor tried to comfort Seong.Seong said "never mind. This will bring a blessing later."
Several years later, a war broke out. Most of the young men who fought in the war were killed
but Seong's son is not in war and survived .
This story reminds me of a lesson for all of us.
No matter how hard things get, never fear because every cloud has a silver lining.
Fortune likes to play tricks on mankind.
I am looking forward to a blessing God has in store for me now that I broke my foot.
